The tried and true Case Sod Buster is a classic slip joint pattern built robust for functional utility. This version is the smaller of the two Sod Busters, the Jr., and comes with rugged Pocket Worn Crimson Peachseed Jigged Bone covers and a Tru-Sharp stainless steel blade.

Blade: The single skinner blade has a subtle clip and full flat grind and is made from Tru-Sharp stainless steel with a mirror polish finish. The full flat grind provides a good combination of durability and cutting performance. This model has a strong back spring with smooth slip joint operation.

Handle: The rugged Pocket Worn Crimson Peachseed Jigged Bone covers run the full length of the handle and have a great in-hand feel. The covers are attached with brass pins to brass liners in the traditional style. The front cover sports an embossed Case Oval Script Shield with smooth, simple and secure slip-joint operation.

Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel: Case's proprietary version of 420HC. Stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough. With proper heat treat it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
