Gerber Vintage Yan-Su 8" Chinese Cleaver / Black Phenolic / Satin 440C ( Pre Owned )

This Yan-Su cleaver is actually a large slicer for paper-thin cuts. Designed by the famous Al Mar before he left Gerber to start his own company back in the mid 1970's.

Made from at the time superb stainless steel (440C) and clad with a sure grip plastic handle this slicer will be making thin cuts of pork in no time.

Comes in the original box with most of the paperwork. Appears to have been sharpened at least once but very serviceable and downright cool.
