The #23 from Great Eastern Cutlery is the GEC version of a classic two-blade trapper. Instead of the traditional blade profiles Great Eastern has opted to go with a drop point Skinner paired with a hefty Spey blade. With a full size handle and dual, polished 1095 carbon steel blades this Trapper is ready to handle your heavy use tasks. This Northfield UN-X-LD "Bullet" version comes with polished blades, bolsters with Redtail Jigged Bone covers and Bullet UN-X-LD shield.
Blade: The #23 Trapper comes with two blades: a drop point Skinner and robust Spey blade. Both blades are equipped with a polished full flat grind, subtle top swedge and short nail nick for opening.
Handle: Redtail Jigged Bone handle scales are fitted perfectly to polished and grooved nickel silver bolsters at the pivot of the generous handle, all supported by solid brass liners. Redtail Jigged Bone delivers an organic look and warm in hand feel, perfect for this timeless traditional design as well as offering enhanced traction. Brass liners and pins round out construction along with the polished Bullet shield.
