Greyed Bruk Double Bit Axe, 36" Straight Gränsfors Handle

Unknown make antique double bit head made from high carbon steel. Rehung on a quality Gränsfors straight 36" handle with a flared knob for less fatiguing splitting and felling. The head itself is of unknown make, though it has tested out as a quality steel and has markings from the original manufacturer, though we cannot definitively identify the maker. As with all our rehung axes and mauls, we have re beveled the toe, bit and heal to give a consistent edge. We also do our best to remove any rust and make sure the head is sound.
