Kodiak's first edition of "The LeConte," is a beautiful balance between art and practicality. It's approximate length is 9.25 inches and 1.3 inches at its widest. The blade carries 3 inches of finely sharpened steel with an additional 1.5 inches of razor sharp serrations.The handle material is Grey and black layered G10, a composite material made of laminated high-pressure fiberglass. With two handle texture options available, we offer the adventurer a choice between a rounded smooth handle or one with hand ground divot. The only real difference between the two handle options is cosmetic. Each design is well balanced and fits well in the hand.

This handcrafted Damascus knife is a choice addition to any skilled adventurer's kit. The entire blade has been treated with Cerakote's "A" series clear coat, giving it added corrosion resistance; or, “Cold Bluing,” a black oxide technique which turns the steel a darker color and also offers corrosion protection. Finally we complete this piece with a custom built Kydex sheath, heat formed to fit your knife perfectly. If a secure means of attachment is desired, a "Blade-Tech TEK-LOK'' fastener as an option. If the adventurer desires a more streamlined approach and doesn't want to attach the knife at the hip, they can opt to choose a plain Kydex cover. This will keep the blade’s sharp edge from coming in direct contact with anything else while in the pack.
