Each Ruana blade is made from high carbon steel that is hammer forged, hollow ground, individually oil quenched, and heat treated using a zone tempering method that makes the spine of the blade a little softer than the cutting edge. All Ruana knives are made with tough cast aluminum handles. This Ruana set hails from the last year Ruddy was still making knives. A collection of six 5AD drop point "stickers" all hammered out from high carbon steel. All the knives are encased in a one of kind oak cutlery box. This is a super cool one off set that we in the shop are having some difficulty letting go and not taking home.
