The handle on this knife is rough "checkering", which sure does make for a good grip, BUT it should have been smoothed under the clip as it will wear the edge of your pocket out in no time. Fixed it with some course sand paper, also I wish it had a lanyard hole instead of using the clip for a lanyard. On the good side, I like the size and heft, seems most knives these days (like the other knife I just bought, a Benchmade Osborne) are made for girly hands, I can't "get a grip" on it when opening it . I'd sure like to see the Benchmade Osborne in a man size.
