The model 66, in particular, the L66, was the most popular deer hunting knife in the Western line-up. The knife is characterized by a deep belly and an upswept tip that makes it a great skinner. The blade length is 4.5 inches, with an overall length of about 8.6 inches. This particular version is either just before or at the beginning of the COLEMAN ownership of the WESTERN bran sometime in the mid 1970's. Overall in fantastic shape and features a nice upswept almost scimitar style 4.5" 1095 blade, brass guard and aluminum pommel with a stacked leather handle.
This does come in the original sheath as well. Just a cool old and very useable knife.
