The Zero Tolerance 0550 Folding Tactical Knife was designed by Rick Hinderer and the design and construction of the ZT 0550 is nothing short of spectacular! For starters, the blade; easily the most important part of a knife, in the case of the 0550, Zero Tolerance chose to use CPM S35VN Stainless Steel. CPM S35VN is a high performance stainless steel that offers a considerable increase in toughness over CPM S30V. It is also more resistant to chipping, corrosion, and wear. All around performance of the steel is enhanced over S30V, and S35VN will still take an extremely sharp edge.

The ZT 0550 features a titanium frame lock that is extremely solid. The deep carry pocket clip allows for low profile, completely ambidextrous carry.
